Gimeno Woodworking Machinery will be an exhibitor at the next edition of Fimma-Maderalia, to be held from 10 to 13 November 2026.
This consolidated benchmark event for the wood sector returns to its traditional dates in the last quarter of the year. The decision to return to the last quarter of the year closes a historical cycle since the last edition on this date was in October 2011. Since then, Fimma-Maderalia has undergone several changes, adapting to economic and global circumstances, until reaching its current successful format.
Fimma-Maderalia will hold its 41st edition in 2026, in which it plans to increase the offer and exhibition area, strengthen its position in the international calendar of wood sector fairs and facilitate the planning of investments in the acquisition of new machinery and technology.
Fimma-Maderalia woodworking machinery: the success of the last event
The most recent edition of Fimma-Maderalia was a resounding success with a 12% increase in direct exhibitors (65% Spanish and 35% foreign), and an increase of 67.9% in occupancy for Fimma and 7.6% for Maderalia, with an exhibition area of over 72,000 square metres.
As for visitors, 35,190 were registered, 82% of them Spanish and 18% international, coming from 63 countries. Furniture manufacturers, professionals from the woodworking and carpentry sector were the groups with the largest presence, with a 36% increase in visits from stockists and distributors. The origin of international visitors was 60% European, 17% North African and a notable increase in visitors from South America and North America.
